Get To Know Your Neighborhood Morons

SQUIRLE - Umm, well, just your not-too-average college student, Squirle doesn't get along too well with the opposite sex. A bit of a computer geek with a slight lack of common sense and an off-the-wall sense of humor, he usually fills the role of narrator, or "Greek Chorus," if you will.
MOUSSE - Aside from being named for a hair-care product, Mousse has a tendency to be, well, easily distracted. Part time college student, and full time idiot, Mousse is often short on cash from trying to feed his anime addiction. More of a gamer than his partner, you'll usually find him in front of the computer screen.
JACKIE - The token female of the strip, we inserted Jackie so that maybe later we can have some romantic tension plotlines. The only athlete of the bunch, Jackie has a track scholarship, and has never seen a Japanese cartoon in her life. She is also sort of the foil of the strip, easily being the most normal character of the bunch.
NATASHA - A Russian exchange student, Natasha was introduced mainly for the Rocky and Bullwinkle joke. Proud of her heritage, Natasha is a fiercely loyal member of the Communist Party, which can make for some interesting situations. Look for Natasha to pop up touting the wonders of Communism as this country drops further and further down the tubes.
GEM - Every bit the otaku that Mousse and Squirle are, Gem's (willing) lack of a job enables him to constantly mooch off of his friend. Quick to anger, Gem is constantly breaking some random bone in his body through stupid injuries. Rarely away from his Playstation unless he is at a soccer game, Gem bills himself as an even 13373r g4m3r than Mousse.
FEARLESS LEADER - The ambiguous head of a possibly major worldwide underground Communist syndicate that may or may not employ Natasha as a covert agent to keep tabs on Mousse and Squirle for one unknown reason or another. When you get down to it, we really don't know anything at all about Fearless Leader, or the company, bureau, or government agency that he leads fearlessly.
V.I. LENIN - In 1917 Vladimir Ilich Lenin, ne. Ulyanov, lead a coupe that overthrew the Tsar of Russia at the time, and helped consolidate power for the Communist Party in Russia, and acted as its first head of state. Famous for his quote, "All men are created equal, but some are more equal than others," Lenin eventually died in 1924, causing rival factions of Communism, lead by Josef Stalin and Leon Trotsky, to bout for control of the USSR.
BACTY: THE TALKING BACTERIUM - Squirle found Bacty talking away in the back of a biology lab, and decided that he'd make the perfect "talking animal mascot" for the strip. Bacty, however, has other ideas, as he is pissed at the world for being born a sentient, talking bacteria. Thus he hates and resents all forms of multi-cellular life, and, were he not a single cell organism, he would vow his life to making the world pay for his misfortune.

In the real life sense, Squirle runs the site and draws (and I use "draw" in the loosest sense of the word) the strips, while Mousse provides story info.
